THE COMPANY

DESIGNA builds the platform beneath applications, automation and enterprise AI. Based in Akron, Ohio, we combine a proprietary PHP-WASM runtime, Titan's AI capabilities and cloud infrastructure with engineering that adapts the stack to each customer's operations.

Founded by Andrew Rulnick in 2013, DESIGNA has evolved from marketing technology and product work into an infrastructure company. Approximately three years of underlying technology development have established the foundation for its current platform.

Our approach is industry by industry. Reusable infrastructure provides the foundation; forward-deployed engineering connects it to the workflows, applications and requirements that make each business different.

Capital efficient by design

We built substantial infrastructure before scaling the commercial organization. Now our priority is converting that work into customers, repeatable deployments and recurring revenue.

Hiring and spending follow delivery requirements, customer milestones and available capital. Founding senior executives can initially participate through equity-heavy arrangements, with market cash compensation added as revenue and capitalization support it. This approach preserves resources for the work that advances the business.

Built for independence

DESIGNA's objective is to build an enduring, independent computing company. An eventual IPO is a long-term ambition, supported first by the work of building a durable commercial business.

Andrew Rulnick — Founder & CEO

Built by someone who has worked across the stack — and the business.

Andrew Rulnick is DESIGNA's Founder & CEO and the solo architect of the Titan Antigravity Kernel. His experience spans GoDaddy, product creation, enterprise leadership, cloud and AI infrastructure, and partnership management.

As former VP, Product & Partnership at Horizon Media, he managed the Google partnership and led AI and data initiatives. His technical innovation and product creation across GoDaddy through Horizon contributed to more than $100 million in revenue; his executive experience includes more than $50 million in P&L responsibility.

That combination informs DESIGNA's approach: build the underlying systems, understand the customer's operating problem and deliver a platform that can support a commercial business.

WHAT DESIGNA IS BUILDING

Andrew is the solo architect behind DESIGNA’s Titan Antigravity Kernel. He used advanced AI models extensively for implementation, debugging, and review. He directed the architecture, isolated failures, and verified the resulting software. The working system combines PHP/WebAssembly execution with WordPress hosting, customer isolation, domain onboarding, payment-key separation, and guarded releases.

That engineering serves digital agencies, retailers, enterprise IT, government, and media creators. Andrew’s independent R&D also connects cloud model training with local GPU inference and real-time media experiments.

DESIGNA works in partnership with Google, AMD, and NVIDIA. Its own website demonstrates the software in use. The next step is to measure performance and economics across more customer applications.

Andrew’s record includes product launches, commercial growth, technical R&D, and executive leadership. Selected achievements:

• DESIGNA — Founder, 2013–present: Built a marketing technology company that achieved 30% year-over-year client growth. Earned Google Premier Partner and Analytics/Data SME recognition. Developed product, analytics, paid-media, and automation systems for clients.
• Horizon Media — VP, Product & Partnership, September 2022–November 2023: Led AI and data initiatives. Across his career from GoDaddy through Horizon, Andrew’s technical innovation and product creation contributed to more than $100 million in revenue. Improved media mix modeling efficiency by 20% using Vertex AI and cloud analytics. Doubled team output. Managed the Google partnership and secured executive and board approval for AI and data initiatives. Achieved 100% direct-report retention and approximately 80% indirect-team retention.
• Titan Antigravity Kernel — Solo architecture and engineering: Built the cloud-hosted PHP/WebAssembly system with AI-assisted implementation. Designed customer isolation, separate payment credentials, custom-domain onboarding, isolated staging, and release controls. Resolved failures across networking, certificates, runtimes, databases, and permissions.
• Hardware experience and media R&D: Andrew has worked with hardware since 386-era IBM computers. His hands-on work includes splitting PCIe lanes to connect multiple GPUs through riser cables. He built a dual-GPU AI workstation with 128GB of memory and resolved firmware, driver, and stability issues. His GPU software work includes JAX and Pallas. He combined cloud training with local inference and prototyped a media pipeline for image generation, upscaling, speech recognition, and scene analysis. He applied it to game-asset remastering and graphics experiments.
• Executive leadership: Experience includes more than $50 million in P&L responsibility, board communication, product strategy, partnerships, and staff mentorship. Technical decisions are informed by the costs, customer needs, and delivery responsibilities behind them.
• Education and professional development: Coursework in philosophy, mathematics, psychology, and computer science at Scottsdale Community College. Google Partner Ambassador experience, Google Analytics certification, and TensorFlow in Practice training through Coursera.

Earlier roles at Philly Marketing Labs, ReachLocal, TeleTech and Google, and GoDaddy connect this technical work with business development, analytics, customer service, and commercial leadership.

BUILDING, GAMING, AND AGI

Andrew dates the start of the kernel to around February 12, 2024, just before Andrej Karpathy left OpenAI for the second time. He recalls Karpathy encouraging the PHP/WebAssembly idea and telling him he might be the more prepared programmer.

In November 2024, Andrew recalls linking up with Karpathy in World of Warcraft. Karpathy’s priest, badmephisto, played a hybrid damage/healer role alongside Andrew’s hunter, Rebteveya. They joined forces in AGI, a guild on a Classic Anniversary server. To Andrew, it symbolized their hope to use their talents to help humanity. Those are three months he will never forget.

THE NEXT DECADE

DESIGNA plans to expand from kernel distribution and consumer software into designing and building data centers. Its longer-term proposed scope includes satellite, spacecraft, launch-vehicle and ground-system technologies, including solar-powered orbital compute clusters. These activities are separate from current software and hosting offers. Each project requires approval, capital, partners, staged validation and applicable authorizations.
