About DESIGNA

THE FOUNDER

Andrew Rulnick is the founder and chief architect of DESIGNA. His work combines systems thinking, product strategy, enterprise media, analytics, WordPress, AI-assisted workflows, and commercial leadership. DESIGNA grew from a long-running interest in making ambitious technology useful to the people who have to ship, operate, and grow real businesses.

The goal is practical and human: give teams a stronger operating layer for the work they already do, without asking them to discard every familiar tool or rebuild their business from scratch.

WHAT DESIGNA IS BUILDING

The Antigravity Kernel is an active product and research platform for modern web applications, tenant operations, and AI-assisted digital work. Its present focus is a PHP/WebAssembly foundation with WordPress compatibility, governed application workflows, and an observability layer that helps teams understand what is happening in production.

It is the technical expression of a broader belief: infrastructure should not merely keep a site online. It should help a team move from idea to launch, from customer signal to decision, and from incident to recovery with more clarity.

Some underlying implementation choices are intentionally private. Public communication should focus on the outcomes the platform is being built to deliver: dependable application operations, stronger tenant boundaries, faster diagnosis, and a more capable path from customer request to governed execution.

HOW WE WORK

  • Evidence before certainty: Product and performance claims should follow measured runs, customer feedback, and clear operational evidence.
  • Compatibility where it matters: Modernization should create leverage without forcing an unnecessary rewrite of working customer workflows.
  • Commercial usefulness: The technology matters because it can improve delivery, governance, resilience, and operating economics for real organizations.
  • Responsible disclosure: Public pages describe capabilities and direction; sensitive implementation details remain protected while the platform evolves.

SELECTED PRIOR WORK

Before and alongside DESIGNA, Andrew has worked across enterprise marketing, digital media, analytics, partnerships, and product development. That range informs the platform: the best infrastructure decisions are the ones that survive contact with customers, budgets, deadlines, and creative ambition.

  • DESIGNA — Founder & Chief Architect: Built the company’s evolving application foundation, AI-assisted operating tools, WordPress environments, customer workflows, and experimental interactive-media initiatives.
  • Horizon Media — VP, Product & Partnerships: Led product and partnership work at the intersection of media, data, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities for national-brand environments.
  • Philly Marketing Labs — VP, Business Development & Partnerships: Developed enterprise relationships, demand-generation programs, and analytics-centered growth initiatives.
  • ReachLocal — Senior Director, Digital Marketing: Managed performance programs, forecasting, campaign operations, and team productivity in a high-volume digital environment.
  • TeleTech and Google — Marketing Executive & Analyst: Built experience across client operations, analytics, campaign management, and partner-facing delivery.
  • GoDaddy — Team Lead and Assistant Manager: Learned the operational discipline of supporting customers, leading teams, and delivering revenue at scale.

These chapters are not separate from the technology. They are why DESIGNA is built around useful systems, clear controls, and outcomes that an operator or executive can actually recognize.

A BUILDER WITH RANGE

Andrew’s interests span application infrastructure, WebAssembly research, AI systems, data and measurement, technical storytelling, interactive media, and the business mechanics required to turn a promising capability into a dependable service.

Some experiments will remain research. Others will become products. The common thread is a willingness to work across disciplines until the result is both technically interesting and commercially meaningful.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

DESIGNA is moving from an ambitious technical foundation toward repeatable customer proof: clearer product packages, measured readiness, disciplined releases, and partnerships that turn infrastructure capability into business value.
