About DESIGNA

I’m Andrew Rulnick, founder of DESIGNA.

With nearly two decades at the cutting edge of technology, my journey has been driven by a passion for democratizing powerful tools and pioneering optimizations for core internet infrastructure and enterprise platforms. I’ve had the privilege of contributing to transformative projects with industry giants like Google and GoDaddy, and have played a role in advancing open-source initiatives that underpin much of the web we use today, including work related to projects like Let’s Encrypt, Node.js, and WordPress itself.

My career has been a continuous pursuit of “what’s next,” from spearheading AI-driven transformations and generating substantial revenue growth at leading media agencies, to founding DESIGNA in 2013 as a hub for innovative marketing technology and data analytics solutions. As a recognized Google Premier Partner, my focus has always been on leveraging deep technical expertise – in areas like Deep Learning (JAX, TensorFlow), unsampled data processing, and high-performance software engineering (Go, C++/CUDA) – to deliver exceptional results and drive significant efficiency gains for clients and internal teams alike.

Today, this journey culminates in our latest venture: PHP+ WASM & WordPress+. This isn’t just an iteration; it’s a re-imagination of how WordPress can perform, scale, and integrate with the AI-driven future. We’re building on years of experience managing multi-million dollar budgets, leading high-performing teams with exceptional retention, and fostering strategic partnerships with global technology leaders like Google and Salesforce. My current explorations into next-generation game engine development, Large Language Models, and even quantum-resistant encryption are all part of a broader vision to build more secure, intelligent, and performant digital experiences.

At DESIGNA, we believe the future of the web is faster, more secure, and deeply integrated with intelligence. We’re excited to be building that future, starting with WordPress+.
